Do not confuse Corel Painter with Corel Photo Paint, it's two different software packs. Corel Painter X is the newest version of that what you need :)

You know ... now that I think about it, a friend gave my husband a computer awhile back, and I'm pretty sure he put Corel Paint on it. We just never use it, so I forgot it was there. I'm gonna have to explore the program and learn how to use it - this could be a lot of fun ... thanks for the suggestion! :)

Ha, I've been drawing digitaly for maybe a month...I borrowed a tablet from my friend, it's too expensive for a Serbian student to buy. I always made everything by hand, only tuned the lines in photoshop, and just recently I started painting my illustrations in a rather amateurish way. You should try either Corel Painter, or Photoshop, both of that software have free personal edtitions or how it's called...when you get familiar with Painter, you'll ask yourself how did you manage to live without it all thee years :)

I agree with you completely ... the fur and nose need a lot of help. I've only been drawing digitally since March, so I literally know nothing about the more professional drawing tools, but it's definitely something I'd like to pursue in the near future. I've added you as a friend here and at RMD - thanks! =)

Mingu ^^ Hey! I saw the cat photo in your favorites, you really did a god gob ;) could be better, but you'd need Corel Painter or something advanced :)

check out my illustrations, I am much better with hand than tablet.
